Short version: We collect almost nothing. No accounts. No cookies for tracking. Your progress stays in your own browser. The only data that leaves your device is if you choose to send us feedback via the optional end-of-path survey, which uses your own email client.
We do not collect personally identifiable information. Operation Ready has no user accounts, no registration, and no login. You can use every part of the platform without providing your name, email address, or any other personal information.
Your training progress (completed modules, quiz scores, dates) is stored in your browser's localStorage — a mechanism that keeps data on your own device. This data:
At the end of each training path, you are offered an optional feedback survey. If you complete and send the survey, it is delivered via your own email client to contact@operationready.org. We receive and read these emails to improve the platform content. We do not share survey responses with third parties. You can skip the survey entirely — it has no effect on your training progress.
We use one functional cookie — your language preference (stored as or_lang) — to remember which language you've selected. This is a strictly necessary functional cookie and does not track you. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking.
We also store your preferred certificate name in localStorage (or_cert_name) so you don't have to re-enter it each time you generate a certificate. This stays on your device.
We do not currently use web analytics. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this policy and use a privacy-respecting solution (such as Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not collect personal data).

Operation Ready is designed for adults joining humanitarian SAR operations. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18.
Because we hold no personal data about you on our servers, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have sent a feedback survey and wish to have that email deleted from our inbox, contact us and we will do so.
